Okay, so I was super excited to dive into learning Estonian with this Complete Beginner to Intermediate set. The book itself looks legit - nice structure, clear explanations, all that good stuff.
BUT here's the dealbreaker... where are the audio files?! In 2023?? The product description is kinda vague about this. Turns out you need the CD for pronunciation practice, but who even owns a CD player anymore? Major facepalm moment.
The content seems solid though! If they'd just update this with digital audio access (like EVERY other language program does), I'd give it 5 stars. Right now it's like buying a car without wheels - theoretically good but practically useless.
Side note: Compared to German/English resources I've used, this feels a bit old-school and dry. Maybe Estonian just isn't as fun to learn? Or maybe it's the presentation...
Final verdict: Returning my copy but keeping an eye out for an updated version!
