Okay, so I DEVOURED this book in like two days. Kensington absolutely nailed it again! The humor? Chef’s kiss—especially Noah’s internal monologues (which had me snort-laughing at 2 AM).
The world-building is *chef’s kiss* immersive, and the characters? Ugh, I’m emotionally attached now. Even the morally questionable ones have layers (like a fantasy onion). The plot twists kept me guessing, though I did predict one or two—still satisfying though!
Minor gripe: That cliffhanger ending?! Rude. But also… genius? Preordering Book 3 the second it drops.
P.S. If you skipped Book One, fix that immediately. This series is a vibe.
