Okay, so I've never baked anything more complicated than toast before this. But man, this Sunbeam bread maker? Game. Changer.
First off - it's STUPID easy to use. Like, 'I messed up measurements 3 times and still got perfect bread' easy. That whole 'must weigh ingredients to the gram' thing? Total myth (at least for casual bakers like me).
The cleanup is basically nonexistent - just wipe the non-stick pan and you're done. Coming from someone who turns every cooking attempt into a flour explosion, this is magical.
Few quirks though:
- The LCD screen might as well be invisible under bright lights
- Manual is about as helpful as a chocolate teapot (get a proper recipe book instead)
- My first few loaves had slight sinkholes (still tasted amazing though)
Pro tips from one noob to another:
1) Whole wheat flour makes ridiculously fluffy bread
2) Pineapple juice + whole wheat = tropical vacation in bread form
3) Gluten-free actually works (who knew?)
4) Banana bread disappears faster than cookies at a kid's party
