Let me start by saying this monitor is a beast for gaming. The 4K UHD resolution on a 32-inch IPS panel is stunning, especially when you enable HDR. Colors pop, and the clarity is next-level. I was blown away by how crisp everything looked, from games to streaming movies.
The 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time are game-changers (literally). Playing fast-paced shooters like Helldivers 2 feels buttery smooth - no more screen tearing thanks to G-Sync and FreeSync Premium support. Though I did notice some minor brightness inconsistencies near the edges in dark scenes.
As someone who also uses this for work, the webOS smart features are surprisingly handy. Having Netflix and Disney+ built-in is convenient, though I wish the interface was snappier. The USB-C port is perfect for my laptop setup - one cable for both video and power.
The stand deserves special mention - fully adjustable with tilt, swivel, and height options. But honestly? I mounted mine on an arm almost immediately for that clean battlestation look. Speaking of which, the subtle RGB lighting on back adds nice ambiance without being obnoxious.
Now for the not-so-great: The matte screen coating might bother some - it can make blacks look slightly grayish in dark rooms. And while the built-in speakers are decently loud (surprisingly so!), serious gamers will still want headphones or external speakers.
At this price point, it's hard to complain too much though. For PS5/Xbox Series X owners especially, this hits that sweet spot between performance and affordability. Just don't expect OLED-level blacks - but then again, you're not paying OLED prices either!
