Okay, so I finally caved and bought these joggers after seeing all the hype. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint!
First off, the fleece lining is like being hugged by a cloud. I wore them during a 25°F dog walk and my legs were TOASTY while my upper half was freezing (note to self: buy matching jacket).
The water resistance is legit - my golden retriever shook snow all over me and it just rolled right off. Bonus: his hair didn't stick either which is basically a miracle in my life.
Fit-wise, I'm 5'6" and got a medium (usually wear size 8-10). The high waist gives great coverage without that awkward "mom jeans" vibe. Though fair warning - the drawstrings are ridiculously long. I had to tie them in bows like I'm back in kindergarten.
The zipper pockets are genius for walks when I don't want to carry a purse. Though they do make weird hip bulges if you actually use them (why can't pockets just be normal?).
Only con? They're almost TOO warm for indoor lounging unless your house is an igloo. I had to take them off while baking cookies because I started sweating like I was in a sauna.
Final verdict: Worth every penny if you live somewhere cold. Just maybe don't wear them while cooking unless you enjoy feeling like a rotisserie chicken.
