I recently got my hands on the ZHENAN 12-Pack Feather Badminton Shuttlecocks, and here's my honest take after a few intense matches and casual plays.
First off, the durability is a standout. These shuttlecocks held up surprisingly well even after some aggressive smashes. The nylon material feels sturdy, and the rubber bumper at the end adds to their longevity. Unlike cheaper alternatives, they don’t disintegrate after a few hits.
The high-speed (77 grains) design is great for competitive play, but it might be a bit too fast for beginners or casual players. If you're used to slower shuttlecocks like the Yonex Mavis 350, there’s a noticeable difference in speed.
Visibility is another plus. The neon-yellow color makes it easy to track during fast rallies, especially in low-light conditions. No more squinting to follow the shuttlecock!
However, not all is perfect. Some users reported uneven feathers and inconsistent flight patterns, which can be frustrating during precise plays. I didn’t experience this issue with my pack, but it’s worth noting for potential buyers.
For the price, these are decent shuttlecocks—ideal for practice sessions or family games where losing a few isn’t a big deal. But if you're looking for tournament-grade consistency, you might want to invest in higher-end options.
