Okay, so I've put this bad boy through its paces for about 25 hours now, and here's the real deal:
First off - that variable speed control? Absolute game changer. When I was polishing granite (yes, random weekend project), being able to dial down the speed saved my polishing pads from becoming flying projectiles. At full 11,500 rpm this thing could probably wake my neighbors though - ear protection is a must!
The paddle switch is genius. Left-handed? Right-handed? Doesn't matter - it just works. And that safety feature where it won't restart after power loss? Lifesaver when my shop vac kept tripping the circuit.
Did have one weird moment around hour 10 when it spat out some black gunk, but wiped it clean and it's been smooth sailing since. Used it for everything from tile edges to... well... let's just say some creative plumbing solutions involving stubborn toilet bolts.
Only complaint? No discs included - had to source my own. But for the power and precision you get, still totally worth it. This German-engineered beast earns its keep!
