Just got my hands on the UMIDIGI Note 100 5G, and here's my honest take after a week of use.
First off, the design is sleek! The matte black finish looks premium, and the 6.8" display is massive for media consumption. The 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through apps buttery smooth.
The performance has been surprisingly good for a budget phone. Android 14 runs smoothly, and I haven't experienced any major lag during multitasking. The 12GB RAM (with virtual expansion) handles most apps well.
Camera quality is decent - the 50MP main shooter takes good daylight photos, though low-light performance could be better. Selfies from the 16MP front cam are social media-ready!
Battery life is impressive - the 5000mAh battery easily lasts me through a full day of moderate use. The included 20W charger tops it up reasonably fast.
Now for the downsides: No NFC (so no contactless payments), and some carrier compatibility issues (doesn't work with T-Mobile/Metro according to other users). The included case feels a bit flimsy too.
Overall, if you're looking for a large-screen budget phone with solid specs, this is worth considering - just double-check carrier compatibility first!
