Okay, so I've had this rug for about a month now and here's the tea ☕️

First off - that checkerboard pattern? STUNNING. It gives my basic apartment that 'Pinterest aesthetic' without trying too hard. The brown color is actually more versatile than I expected - works with both my beige couch AND dark wood furniture.

The softness is no joke y'all! My cat immediately claimed it as her new nap spot (RIP my $200 cat bed). It's not plush-thick though, so if you want that sinking-your-toes-in feeling, this ain't it.

MAJOR WIN: The non-slip backing actually works?? My clumsy self hasn't eaten floor yet. Though fair warning - if your dog gets the zoomies like mine does, the corners might flip up during extreme play sessions.

Haven't dared to machine wash it yet (the 6x9 size looks scary big for my washer), but spot cleaning with mild soap has been working fine. Vacuuming is easy peasy - no weird snags or fuzz balls so far.

Only con? It arrived looking like it lost a fight with a cardboard box - those creases took like 3 days to flatten out completely. But hey, free ab workout from rolling it out!

Overall? 4.5/5 ⭐️ Would definitely buy again (maybe in another color for my bedroom too...)
