Okay, so I finally got around to testing this WESTICK floral wallpaper that's been sitting in my cart for weeks. Here's the tea ☕
First impression: OMG the colors are even prettier in person! That vintage pink floral pattern had me at hello. The vinyl feels thick and high quality - way better than those flimsy dollar store contact papers.
Installation was... an experience. The grid lines on the back helped a ton with measuring, but PSA: you NEED two people for this. I tried solo and ended up with more air bubbles than a soda can. Pro tip: use a credit card to smooth it out as you go.
Now the drama - after 3 days, some edges started lifting near my window (probably because of humidity). But here's the plot twist - it re-stuck perfectly after I cleaned the surface properly! Moral of the story: prep is EVERYTHING.
Final verdict? 8/10. It's gorgeous, durable, and transforms spaces instantly. Just don't be lazy with surface prep like I was initially. Already planning to use the leftovers for my bookshelves!
