Okay, so I finally caved and bought this puffer jacket for my 5-year-old after seeing it everywhere. Here's the real tea ☕

First off - the PINK! It's that perfect bubblegum shade that doesn't show dirt easily (parent win). The fabric feels way more expensive than the price tag suggests.

The thumbhole cuffs? Genius! My kid actually keeps her sleeves down now when playing in snow. Though fair warning - they do stay damp longer than the rest of the jacket after snowball fights.

We sized up (got a 6Y for my average-height kindergartener) and there's still room for layers. The internal snow skirt is clutch for Midwest winters - no more snow up the back during recess!

Only weird thing? The zipper guard is almost too protective? Like my daughter can't easily zip it herself because the flap covers too much. Small price to pay for no more 'zipper chin' incidents though!

After 3 months of daily wear (including two ski trips), it's holding up shockingly well. No feathers escaping, no broken snaps, and the color hasn't faded. Definitely rebuying next winter!
