Just got my hands on the LONRI HEAT RV hose, and here's the real tea after testing it in actual winter conditions.
The Good: Installation was stupid easy—just plug and play. No leaks (thank goodness), and the flexible design made snaking it around my RV a breeze. Comes with a handy storage bag too, which is a nice touch most brands skip.
The Bad: Had a major facepalm moment when the hose froze overnight at 28°F despite being "heated." Left the tap dripping and everything! Either I got a defective unit or the temp control isn't as reliable as advertised. Major bummer when you wake up to zero water pressure.
Verdict: Works perfectly... until it doesn't. Might be worth the gamble if you're in mildly cold areas, but hardcore winter campers should proceed with caution.
