Let me start by saying these Gosknor winter plant covers are a lifesaver for most of my garden. The 47x71 inch size is generous enough to cover my magnolia bush perfectly, and the light yellow color actually looks quite charming against the winter landscape.
The polypropylene material feels surprisingly durable - I've been through two snowstorms already and they've held up beautifully. The breathability is excellent; I haven't noticed any condensation buildup that could harm my plants.
Now, about that zipper design - genius! It makes installation so much easier than fighting with traditional wrap-around covers. The drawstring at the base creates a snug fit that stays put even in strong winds.
Here's the big BUT though (and it's a thorny one): these covers don't play nice with rose bushes. The material snags easily on thorns, and trying to remove it became such a frustrating ordeal that I eventually had to cut it off. Save yourself the headache and stick to smoother plants like my happy magnolia.
For everything else? Absolutely fantastic protection against frost, wind, and curious animals. Just be mindful of what you're covering!
