Just installed these TRIGHTFILTERS MERV 8 filters in my old furnace and wanted to share my first impressions!

The packaging was neat - getting 4 filters at once is super convenient. The cardboard frame feels sturdier than my usual big-box store filters, which is great since my furnace slot can be finicky.

Installation was a breeze - just slid it in following the arrow direction. What surprised me most was how quiet they are compared to my previous filters. No weird whistling sounds from the HVAC system!

As someone with two shedding dogs, I appreciate the MERV 8 rating. After just two weeks, I can already see dust and pet hair collecting on the filter surface. The pleats look deeper than standard filters too.

The price point is decent - not the absolute cheapest out there, but considering I don't have to make extra trips to the hardware store, it's worth it for me. Will update after a full month of use!
