Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Astro EUROHE103 after seeing all the hype on YouTube (shoutout to Paint Society and Triggerman). Let me tell you—this little guy punches WAY above its price tag!
First off, the finish quality is insane. I sprayed a 4:1 clearcoat, and it came out glass-smooth—zero orange peel. The 1.3mm tip atomizes paint into this fine mist that just lays down perfectly. It’s like spraying with a $700 gun but without the heart attack when you check your bank balance.
Pros? It’s stupid easy to clean (10-minute breakdown!), efficient on air pressure (22-25psi for clear), and has no dumb gaskets to fail. Cons? The trigger throw feels longer than a CVS receipt, and the needle dial is kinda janky. Also, not my fave for metallics—they came out blotchy.
Hot take: This gun is CLEARcoat royalty. For primers/basecoats? Meh. But if you want pro-level clear results without selling a kidney? *chef’s kiss*
P.S.—Returned my Graco FX3000 untouched. That’s how much I stan this Astro.
