I recently got my hands on the Hamilyeah Gold Table Lamps set, and they’ve been a mixed bag of charm and minor frustrations. Here’s my honest take after using them for a few weeks.
The Good: First off, these lamps are *adorable*. The gold base paired with the beige linen shade gives my bedroom a modern, farmhouse vibe without being too flashy. They’re lightweight and compact, which is perfect for my small nightstands—no more fighting for space with my books and phone charger. The plug-in toggle switch is sturdy and easy to use, though I wish it were closer to the lamp base (more on that later).
The Not-So-Good: These lamps are *short*. Like, ‘I had to stack them on books to keep the light from blinding me’ short. The open-top design means light spills straight out, which isn’t ideal for bedtime reading. Also, the cord management is… lacking. The switch dangles awkwardly, and the lamp wobbles if you don’t route the cord just right. I ended up using double-sided tape to keep them stable.
Pro Tip: Elevate them! Once I raised mine to eye level, the shade actually diffused the light beautifully. And yeah, no bulbs included—annoying but not a dealbreaker.
Overall, they’re cute, functional-ish, and great for small spaces—just be prepared to tweak their setup. 4/5 stars.
