I've been using the AEDOVE Floating Feeding Rings for a few weeks now, and they've completely transformed my tank setup. At first, I was skeptical—how much of a difference could a few foam rings make? But after struggling with floating plants taking over the surface and food scattering everywhere, these little circles have been a lifesaver.
The EVA material is lightweight and stays perfectly buoyant, adjusting with the water level like magic. My betta loves having designated spots to come up for air, and the rings create these adorable "portals" on the water's surface that add a quirky touch to my tank's aesthetic.
I primarily use them to corral my duckweed explosion—finally, my submerged plants are getting light again! They also work great as feeding rings. No more chasing fish food around the tank or watching it get lost in plants. The different sizes accommodate various areas of my tank beautifully.
That said, they're not perfect. The foam does bend easily (I accidentally deformed one while cleaning), and getting them perfectly circular again is nearly impossible. The green color isn't my favorite—it stands out more than I'd like against my natural scape.
For the price though? Absolute game-changer. They've solved so many of my floating plant headaches while adding functionality. Just handle them gently, and they'll serve you well!
