So I recently picked up these Augiimor magnetic reed switches to upgrade my home security system. Here's my honest take after using them for a while.

First off, installation was a breeze! The screw terminals made wiring super simple, and they fit perfectly where my old sensors were. Definitely a win for DIYers.

But here's the not-so-great part... Out of the 10 switches I installed, about half stopped working properly within a year. Some went open circuit, others shorted out. Kinda disappointing for something meant to keep your home secure.

The ones that still work do their job well - they're sensitive and trigger reliably when doors/windows open. Just wish the build quality was better.

Final verdict? Great for temporary setups or if you need quick replacements, but maybe not the best long-term solution unless they've improved the reliability.
