Let me start by saying these oxfords are STUNNING. The vintage wingtip design with multicolor perforations makes them stand out in a sea of boring work shoes. I've gotten more compliments wearing these in one week than my entire shoe collection combined!
The good: They're surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. As someone who's constantly running between meetings, the cushioned insole was a lifesaver. The lace-up design allows for a customizable fit - crucial since they do run narrow (more on that later). The brown-blue colorway is even more gorgeous in person.
Now the not-so-good: SIZING IS TRICKY. I normally wear US 8 but had to exchange for 8.5 after my toes felt cramped. Even then, they needed about a week of breaking in before feeling truly comfortable. Also be warned - while advertised as leather, some pairs seem to be synthetic (that strong chemical smell is a dead giveaway).
Durability concerns me - I've noticed slight fraying near the eyelets after just two months of moderate wear. For the price point, I expected better craftsmanship.
Final verdict? If you're willing to gamble on sizing and don't mind potential quality issues, these make fabulous statement shoes. But if you need reliable everyday footwear, you might want to keep looking.
