I've been using these photochromic blue light blocking glasses for a few weeks now, and they've quickly become my go-to accessory for both work and outdoor activities. The transition from clear to tinted is smooth, though I agree with some reviewers that they don't get as dark as traditional sunglasses in bright sunlight. Indoors, however, they're perfect for reducing eye strain during long hours in front of screens.
The lightweight TR90 frames are incredibly comfortable - I often forget I'm wearing them! The spring hinges provide a secure fit without feeling tight, even during extended wear. While the photochromic effect might not be dramatic enough for intense sunlight, it's sufficient for casual outdoor use on moderately sunny days.
Where these glasses really shine (pun intended) is their blue light filtering capability. As someone who spends 8+ hours daily on computers, I've noticed significantly less eye fatigue since using them. The lenses maintain excellent clarity without that yellowish tint common in many blue light glasses.
The included case is a nice bonus - sturdy enough for travel but slim enough to toss in my work bag. While the frames run slightly large (they occasionally slip when I look down), the overall comfort and functionality make this a minor issue. For the price point, these offer impressive versatility as both computer glasses and light-duty sunglasses.
