Okay, so I finally got my hands on the meross Outdoor Smart Plug, and let me tell you – it's been a total game-changer for my patio setup!

First off, the setup was surprisingly easy. Like, 'I-didn't-even-need-to-yell-at-my-router' easy. The app guided me through everything, and within minutes I was controlling my string lights with Alexa. "Alexa, turn on party mode" never felt so magical.

The waterproof feature is legit. We've had some serious rain lately (thanks, unpredictable weather), and this little trooper kept working like nothing happened. My old non-smart plugs would have probably shorted out by now.

What I really love? Being able to control each outlet separately. One side runs my decorative lights, the other handles the fountain – and I can schedule them to turn on/off at different times. Sunset light show? Done. Midnight fountain shutoff? You got it.
