I recently tried the Adult Swim Diapers Washable Reusable Diaper for my pool exercises, and here's my honest take on it.
First off, the fit is decent. I usually wear a medium, but the L size worked well for me with a waist of 38-40 inches. The elastic bands on the waist and thighs are snug without being too tight, which is great for preventing leaks during movement.
However, I did notice that it doesn't have any extra features like additional elastic or ties, which some other swim diapers offer. It's pretty basic—just a reusable diaper cover marketed for swimming. If you're looking for something more heavy-duty, this might not be your best bet.
On the plus side, it's comfortable to wear. The material is soft and doesn't feel bulky in the water, which is a big win for me. I didn't experience any irritation or odd smells, even after wearing it for a couple of hours during my pool class.
But here's the catch: it's not entirely leak-proof. I tested it in the bathtub first (thankfully!), and liquids passed through more easily than I expected. So while it’s fine for light use or as a cover over clothing, don’t rely on it for full protection.
Cleaning is a breeze—just toss it in the machine and air dry. It held up well after multiple washes without hardening or cracking, which is a plus for reusability.
Overall, it’s an okay option if you need something simple and reusable for pool activities, but don’t expect miracles in terms of leak protection.
