Let me start by saying this lock is a BEAST. After having two e-bikes stolen, I needed something that would make thieves cry. The Granit Super Extreme doesn't disappoint - it took a YouTube tester 13 minutes, 4 discs, and 2 battery changes just to cut through ONE side. That's insane!

The weight (2.4kg) is noticeable but expected for this level of protection. The included frame mount helps, though I did wrap the shackle in tape to prevent frame scratches (ABUS - maybe include rubber sleeves?). Alignment can be slightly finicky - I've developed a push-down-while-locking technique that works perfectly.

Where this lock really shines is in psychological deterrence. Its massive 20mm square shackle and industrial look scream 'move along' to potential thieves. While it won't fit around thick poles, the security tradeoff is worth it for my €5k e-bike.

Is it pricey? Absolutely. But after seeing how it outperforms competitors in cutting tests (looking at you, Kryptonite), I sleep better knowing my bike has what's essentially the Fort Knox of u-locks protecting it.
