I’ve been using the Suertree Blue Light Blocking Glasses for a few weeks now, and they’re a bit of a rollercoaster. On one hand, they’re incredibly lightweight—so much so that I often forget I’m wearing them. The rectangular frames have a sleek, unisex design that doesn’t scream 'reading glasses,' which I appreciate. They’re perfect for tossing in my bag or keeping at my desk for those long work-from-home days.
The blue light blocking feature is legit. I tested it with a blue light card (yes, I’m that person), and the reduction in glare is noticeable, especially during late-night scrolling or marathon Zoom calls. My eyes feel less strained, and I haven’t had any headaches since switching to these.
That said, the hinges feel flimsy. One pair already loosened after a week of gentle use, and the nose pads (which are molded into the frame) started irritating my skin. For the price, I expected sturdier construction—these won’t survive being sat on or tossed around like my $5 drugstore readers.
The included extras (cleaning cloths, lanyards) are nice touches, but they don’t make up for the durability issues. If you need a cheap backup pair or something for light use, these are fine. But if you’re rough on glasses or want long-term reliability, spend a bit more elsewhere.
