Okay, so I finally caved and bought these LED candles after seeing them all over Instagram. And let me tell you - they did NOT disappoint!

The flickering effect is seriously realistic. Like, my cat keeps giving them suspicious looks like 'are you trying to trick me human?' The remote control is a game changer - I can adjust brightness or set timers without getting up from my cozy couch nest.

They do take 3 AAA batteries each (not included, boo) but the battery life seems great so far. The gold color is more subtle than I expected - more champagne than blingy gold - but actually works better with my decor.

Only minor complaint? The plastic battery compartment feels a bit cheap compared to the otherwise premium look. But since it's hidden when in use, I can live with it.

10/10 would recommend for anyone who loves candle ambiance but hates fire hazards (or lazy people like me who don't want to keep relighting real candles). Already planning to buy another set for holiday gifts!
