Let me start by saying these little wooden cubes punch WAY above their weight class. After using cheap PC speakers for years, the A2+s felt like discovering high-fidelity sound for the first time.
The build quality immediately stands out - that glossy piano-black finish and solid wood construction makes them look like miniature luxury speakers. They're surprisingly heavy for their size, which helps reduce vibration (though I still recommend getting the angled stands).
Sound quality is where these really shine. The clarity in mids and highs is exceptional - I can pick out individual instruments in complex orchestral pieces that just blurred together on my old speakers. The silk dome tweeters deliver crisp highs without any harshness.
Now about that bass: yes, it's light compared to larger systems. But through USB connection with some EQ tweaking (I use Equalizer APO), I got satisfying low-end that doesn't distort even at higher volumes. For serious bassheads, there's always the subwoofer output.
Connectivity options are fantastic - I regularly switch between Bluetooth for casual listening and wired USB when I want higher quality. The auto-sensing inputs mean no fiddling with switches when changing sources.
The only real con is the price - these aren't cheap. But after a year of daily use, I can confidently say they're worth every penny for anyone who cares about audio quality in a compact desktop package.
