Let me start by saying these sheets ruined me for all other bedding. The first night I slept on them, it was like sliding into a cloud made of melted butter. The double-brushed SoftPhiber feels insanely luxurious against skin - way better than my old $300 satin sheets.
I have a 14" deep Tempur-Pedic mattress, and the fitted sheet actually stays put (minor miracle). But here's the weird part - these sheets have a learning curve. The first week, I'd wake up tangled like a burrito because everything slides so much. My husband kept losing his pillow as it slowly migrated to the floor (we now use non-Comphy pillowcases).
The cooling effect is real but fleeting. As a hot sleeper, I still stick my feet out, but shaking the sheets does create this nice cooling whoosh of air. My cat has become obsessed with them too - she kneads them constantly but somehow hasn't poked holes (yet).
After 20+ washes, they've gotten even softer without pilling. The white color hasn't yellowed despite my lazy habit of using regular detergent. But fair warning - making the bed feels like trying to fold a live eel. That slippery luxury comes at a price.
Would I buy again? Absolutely - but only during sales since they're pricey. And I really hope they release that light pink version soon because beige is boring.
