Okay, so I impulse-bought this during a late-night Amazon scroll when my anxiety was peaking. Best. Decision. Ever.
The stories are SUPER short (like 2-3 pages) which is perfect because my attention span these days is basically goldfish-level. I keep it on my nightstand and read one with my morning coffee instead of doomscrolling.
Favorite thing? The drawings! There's this chubby little monkey character who pops up everywhere looking either super zen or hilariously frustrated - basically me before/after reading a story.
Weirdest observation: Some stories feel suspiciously modern? Like there's one about a monk getting stressed about emails that made me snort-laugh. Not complaining though - ancient wisdom with WiFi problems speaks to my soul.
Warning: This book will make you want to sit cross-legged dramatically in nature. I tried it in my backyard and got mosquito bites in unmentionable places. Worth it.
