First off, these walkie talkies are tiny! They fit perfectly in my pocket, which is great when I'm out working on the property with my partner. The built-in flashlight is a nice touch for those late-night searches.
The battery life is solid—way better than our old battery-guzzling radios. We use them daily, and a quick charge keeps them going. The range? Well, in open areas, they work fine up to about half a mile. But throw in some trees or hills, and things get spotty fast.
Now, the not-so-great part. One of ours just stopped charging after a few months. Dead. Useless. Customer service did eventually send a replacement, but it took weeks and multiple follow-ups. Not exactly smooth sailing.
For casual use—kids playing around or short-distance communication—they’re decent. But if you need reliability or longer range, maybe look elsewhere.
