Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE the concept of this touchless dispenser. The lavender & chamomile scent is heavenly - it's like giving my hands a spa treatment every time I wash them. The foaming action feels luxurious, and my skin definitely notices the difference with Dove's moisturizing formula.

The automatic sensor works about 85% of the time in my experience. When it functions properly, it's magical - just wave your hand and get the perfect dollop of foam without touching anything. I especially appreciate this feature when cooking with messy hands.

However... (and this is a big however) the battery life is atrocious. I went through two sets of batteries in three weeks. The unit also occasionally sputters out liquid soap instead of foam, which defeats the whole purpose. My bathroom counter has gotten more soapy drips than I'd like to admit.

The design is cute though! The purple accents look modern in my guest bathroom, and visitors always comment on how fancy it seems. Just wish the functionality matched the aesthetics.

Would I recommend it? Maybe - but only if you're willing to baby it with frequent battery changes and don't mind some inconsistency. When it works, it's wonderful. When it doesn't... well, let's just say I keep a backup pump bottle hidden under the sink.
