Okay, so I got this handlebar attachment for my kid's hoverboard, and here's the tea ☕.
First off, CHECK YOUR HOVERBOARD SIZE! Seriously, this thing only fits 6.5" or 10" wheels. I saw so many reviews where people didn't measure first and got stuck with unusable bars. Mine actually fit (lucky me!), but the sizing issue is real.
The installation was stupid easy though - just clip it around the center axle and you're done. Took like 10 seconds. My daughter loves having something to hold onto while learning, and it does feel more stable.
Quality seems decent? It's aluminum alloy with ABS plastic parts. Hasn't rusted after some rainy rides, which is nice. The height adjustment works well too - goes from kid-sized to adult height no problem.
BUT... it's NOT for steering! Some people in the reviews seemed confused about that. This is purely for balance help - you still steer by leaning like normal.
Biggest warning: Amazon's return window closes fast! Several reviewers got burned waiting too long to test it. If you're buying this as a gift, maybe install it immediately to check fit?
Overall: 4/5 when it fits, but sizing issues drop the average rating down a lot.
