Okay, so I've tried like 5 different smart plugs before this one, and hands down - the KimPump is my new fave. Setup was stupid easy compared to others that made me download some obscure brand-specific app. This one just WORKED with Alexa right away (can't speak for Google Home though).

The voice control is CLUTCH when my hands are full of groceries or when I'm too lazy to get off the couch. "Alexa, turn on the lamp" feels straight out of a sci-fi movie every single time.

Pro tip: These are PERFECT for pet stuff! I use mine for my dog's water fountain in a hard-to-reach spot. Now I can turn it off at night without crawling behind furniture. Game changer.

Only heads up - it's 2.4GHz only (no 5G), but honestly the connection has been rock solid for me even through walls. Way more reliable than some fancier plugs I've tried.

At this price? Definitely grabbing a few more to smart-ify my whole apartment. Already planning to automate my coffee maker and space heater!
