Okay, so I finally got my hands on this Fabio Valenti belt after reading mixed reviews. Here's my honest take after wearing it for a couple weeks.
First off - the leather quality is legit. It's thick, smells like real leather (none of that fake plasticky stuff), and the stitching looks clean. Definitely doesn't feel like a cheap belt.
BUT... this thing is STIFF. Like, break-in-a-new-baseball-glove stiff. Had to really work it to get it to bend properly. Some people might hate this, but I actually prefer stiff belts - they hold their shape better over time.
Size tip: Order your actual pant size, not one up like they suggest. I'm a 34 waist and got the 36 - now I've got like 4 extra inches flapping around. Should've gone with the 34.
The buckle is solid though - zinc alloy has good weight to it without being too flashy. Works equally well with dress pants and dark jeans.
Final verdict? For the price, it's a solid 8/10. Not quite Italian leather quality, but way better than most budget belts. Just be ready to break it in like a new pair of boots!
