Okay, so I finally caved and bought this artificial grass for my dog's play area, and WOW - why didn't I do this sooner?!

The quality is seriously impressive. My two crazy pups run across it daily, and it hasn't frayed or fallen apart at all. Plus, the drainage is amazing (yes, even for... you know... doggy business). No more muddy paws tracking through the house!

Installation was stupid easy - just rolled it out and secured with some landscape staples. Pro tip: make sure all pieces face the same direction unless you want that 'two-toned' look (learned that the hard way).

What surprised me most? How SOFT it is! I actually enjoy walking barefoot on it, and my dogs love napping on it. The 4-tone color pattern makes it look surprisingly real - none of that mini-golf carpet vibe.

Only minor complaint? It shed a bit when I trimmed the edges, but nothing a quick vacuum couldn't handle. After a year of Midwest seasons (including snow plowing right over it!), this stuff still looks brand new.
