Let me start by saying this router is built like a tank. The IP67 rating isn't just marketing fluff - I've had it mounted outside during torrential rains and it didn't even blink. The aluminum casing stays surprisingly cool even when pushing 800Mbps downloads.
The setup was smoother than I expected. PoE power means just one cable running through my wall - clean installation wins! Though I'll admit the web interface looks straight out of 2005, it gets the job done once you find your way around.
Performance is where things get interesting. When it's good, it's REALLY good. Seeing 900Mbps download speeds on T-Mobile's network made me do a double-take. But like other reviewers mentioned, the built-in WiFi is basically useless - you'll want to connect your own router via Ethernet for actual usage.
The dual SIM feature saved my butt when my primary carrier had an outage last month. Automatic failover worked perfectly while I was in the middle of an important Zoom call. That said, band locking requires some technical know-how that casual users might struggle with.
Customer support deserves special mention. When I ran into IPv6 issues at 2AM (because of course that's when tech problems happen), their engineer responded within 20 minutes with step-by-step fixes in perfect English.
Would I buy it again? At full price ($600+), probably not - but if you catch one of their frequent sales bringing it down to $400 range, it's absolutely worth considering if you need reliable outdoor connectivity.
