Alright, so I finally got around to trying this Plastic Parts Crystal Coating after seeing mixed reviews. Here's my real-deal experience with it.
First off, the application was super easy—just wiped it on with the included sponge. No fancy skills needed, which is great for lazy car owners like me.
I used it on my faded bumper trim and door handles. After one coat? Meh. Barely noticed a difference. But after the second application (24 hrs later), there was a subtle darkening and slight shine. Not *mind-blowing*, but decent for the price.
The BIGGEST PRO: It didn’t leave any weird streaks or residue like some dressings do. Just a clean, matte-ish finish that makes plastic look less... sad.
THE CATCH: Don’t expect that "brand-new car" gloss from ads. It’s more of a subtle refresher. Also, durability seems okay—about 2 months before I noticed fading again (parked outside daily).
Verdict? 3/5 stars. Works okay as a quick fix, but temper your expectations. Would rebuy ONLY because it’s cheap and non-greasy.
