Just got my hands on this gluten-free bread machine cookbook and wanted to share my thoughts!
First off, I was super excited to find a dedicated gluten-free bread machine recipe collection. As someone with celiac disease, this felt like hitting the jackpot at first glance.
The book does offer a nice variety of recipes (13 total) with pretty clear instructions. The layout is clean and easy to follow, which I appreciate when I'm covered in flour!
However... here's where it gets tricky. While there's quantity, the quality is inconsistent. I only found one recipe that I'll actually use regularly. The others require way too many specialty flours and additives that just aren't practical for my kitchen (or budget!).
Biggest complaint? They make gluten-free baking seem way more complicated than it needs to be. You don't always need 5 different flours to make decent GF bread!
Final verdict? It's... okay. Might be worth it if you're really into experimental baking, but for everyday use, you might want to keep looking.
