After using the LAOPAO soap dispenser for several months, I have mixed feelings. The touchless operation is fantastic – just wave your hand and get perfect foam in 0.25 seconds. I love the three adjustable foam levels (using the lowest setting saves soap) and the clean, logo-free design.
The rechargeable battery lasts surprisingly long (2-3 months per charge), though I wish there was a low battery warning. The first sign is a slight change in pump sound – you'll learn to recognize it. IPX5 waterproofing gives peace of mind in my humid bathroom.
However, there are quirks. It leaves a small dried soap circle below the nozzle that needs regular cleaning. The included wall mount is poorly designed – my dispenser fell off until I reinforced it with strong tape. Also, it doesn't work with gloved hands, which is frustrating when cleaning.
Customer service deserves praise though. When my first unit's motor died after 7 months, they quickly sent a replacement after seeing my video proof. This level of support makes me willing to overlook some flaws.
For Dr. Bronner's soap users: it handles diluted solutions beautifully without clogging like manual foamers do. Just remember to occasionally flush the pump with warm water to prevent clogs.
