Just got my Allen Edmonds Brady Oxfords and wow - these shoes are STUNNING. The brogue detailing gives such a classic yet modern vibe. Wore them to a wedding last weekend and got so many compliments!
BUT... the sizing is WEIRD. I usually wear 10.5 but these felt like they were made for hobbits. Had to exchange for a full size up, which was annoying since I needed them ASAP.
The leather quality seems good (I got the brown ones), though after just two wears I'm noticing some creasing that makes me nervous about long-term durability.
Comfort is decent - not cloud-like but not torture either. The break-in period is real though - first wear had me limping by hour 3. Pro tip: wear thick socks at home for a few days first!
Biggest gripe? The soles look CHEAPER than expected for this price point. Already showing wear after minimal use, which is disappointing for "premium" shoes.
Final verdict? They're beautiful when new and work great for dressy occasions, but I'm not convinced they'll last years like my other AE pairs. Maybe stick to their main collection instead?
