Let me start by saying this dash cam has been my trusty co-pilot for the past 3 months. The dual-camera setup gives me peace of mind knowing both front and rear views are covered - especially useful when that tailgater suddenly slams their brakes.
The 4K front camera captures decent details during daytime - I could clearly read license plates about two car lengths ahead. However, at night, while the WDR technology helps, don't expect Hollywood-level clarity. It's good enough to prove what happened in an accident though.
What really shines is the 5.8GHz WiFi. Downloading clips to my phone takes seconds compared to my old 2.4GHz cam. The app is intuitive too - I love being able to quickly share footage with my insurance after a near-miss last month.
The installation was tricky. Like another reviewer mentioned, that red protective film is a nightmare to remove. Pro tip: use a razor blade to lift an edge. Also wish they included better hardwiring instructions - I ended up watching YouTube tutorials.
Parking mode works great once properly hardwired. Came back to my car one evening to find footage of someone door-dinging me in the parking lot - that alone made the purchase worthwhile!
The included 64GB card is a nice touch, but heavy users might want to upgrade - it fills up fast when using both cameras at high resolution.
Bottom line: For under $100, this delivers excellent value despite some minor frustrations. It won't replace professional surveillance gear, but for everyday protection and evidence collection, it gets the job done well.
