Just got my hands on the ASTRO A10 Gen 2 headset, and here's my take after a week of intense gaming sessions!
The sound quality is surprisingly crisp for the price. Those 32mm drivers really deliver - I could hear enemy footsteps in Valorant like never before. Though my friend with bigger ears says it feels a bit tight during long sessions.
The flip-to-mute mic is a game-changer! Super convenient when I need to cough or yell at my cat mid-game. Voice clarity is decent, though Discord buddies say it picks up some keyboard clicks.
Comfort gets an A from me. The ear cushions feel like clouds... at least for the first 3 hours. After that, I do need short breaks. The headband adjustment could be smoother though - feels a bit stiff.
Durability seems okay so far? I'm not throwing it around, but it survived an accidental drop from my desk. That removable cable design makes me nervous about long-term use though.
Biggest surprise: works perfectly across all my devices! Seamless switch between Xbox, Switch and PC. The in-line volume control is simple but effective.
Would I recommend? For casual gamers - absolutely! Hardcore streamers might want something more premium, but for the price? Solid 8/10 from me.
