I've been using the Sony WH-CH720N for a few weeks now, and they've become my go-to headphones for daily use. The first thing that struck me was how incredibly lightweight they are—just 192g! I barely notice them on my head, even after hours of wear.
The noise cancellation is impressive for the price. It's not absolute silence, but it does a great job muting office chatter and background noise. I recently wore them on a flight, and while I could still hear the engine hum, it was significantly reduced.
Battery life has been reliable - I get about 30 hours with ANC on. The quick charge feature is handy when I forget to charge overnight (3 minutes gives me an hour of playback). The sound quality is clean and balanced after some EQ tweaking in the Sony app.
My only gripe? The ear cups could be deeper. After 3-4 hours, my ears start touching the inner lining which gets uncomfortable. Also, the buttons aren't very tactile - I often fumble to find the right one without looking.
For under $100 though? These are fantastic value if you prioritize comfort and decent ANC over premium sound quality.
