I've been wearing this Varsity Jacket for a few weeks now, and it's quickly become my go-to outerwear. The combination of wool and real cowhide leather gives it a premium feel that stands out from cheaper alternatives. The first thing I noticed was how soft yet durable the materials are – no scratchy wool or stiff leather here.

What surprised me most was the versatility. I've worn it during chilly morning walks (around 40°F) with just a t-shirt underneath and stayed perfectly warm, yet it doesn't overheat when I'm indoors. The leather sleeves add just enough weight to make it feel substantial without being bulky.

The fit was true to size for me (I'm usually a medium), but I'd recommend checking the size chart carefully since some reviewers mentioned sizing issues. The ribbed cuffs and waistband create a snug fit that keeps cold air out, while the cross pockets are deep enough to actually use – a rare find in fashion jackets!

After taking it to be embroidered (added my college logo), the tailor complimented the construction quality, especially how well the leather and wool sections were joined. Three months in, there's no pilling on the wool or cracking in the leather, despite regular wear.

My only minor critique? The wool body is slightly thinner than traditional letterman jackets, which makes it more versatile for different temperatures but might disappoint those expecting heavyweight warmth.
