After using these mats behind my home bar for 3 months, I can confidently say they're game-changers. The thickness (5/16") strikes the perfect balance - sturdy enough to catch cocktail spills but flexible enough to roll up when I need to clean my counter.

What surprised me most was how well they contain liquid. When I knocked over a whole shaker of margarita (oops!), the mat held everything in its textured surface like a tiny swimming pool. No frantic wiping - just lifted the mat and poured the spill down the drain.
