Okay, so I just finished 'Second Chances' and I have FEELINGS. First off, I'm totally here for later-in-life romance - we need more of these stories!

The good: Camille's kids are adorable, and the whole 'first love returns' trope got me right in the feels. The writing flows nicely - I read it in one sitting during my lunch breaks.

The not-so-good: Girl, where's my ending?! It literally stops mid-story like someone yanked the book away. I need to know what happens with Max's mom! And Brandon's friend David! And everything!

I'd give it 3 stars because the characters are sweet and it's an easy read, but that non-ending is brutal. Maybe if the sequel wraps things up nicely? But I'm not sure I want to risk another cliffhanger...
