Just got my Garmin Forerunner 265S and I'm obsessed! As someone with petite wrists (160mm), finding a fitness watch that doesn't look like a dinner plate is tough. This 42mm beauty fits like a dream.
The AMOLED display is STUNNING - colors pop even in direct sunlight. Battery life blows my old Apple Watch out of the water (10 days vs daily charging!). Love waking up to my personalized Morning Report with sleep stats and training readiness.
Game-changer features: The race widget helps me strategize marathons, while daily suggested workouts adapt based on my performance. Training Readiness score tells me when to push or rest - no more guessing!
Minor gripes: Wish Garmin offered more band options (currently rocking the black/yellow). Also would love to disable pace alerts during coached runs. But these are tiny quibbles for such a powerhouse watch.
After 2 months, it's transformed my running. The data richness is insane - HRV status, recovery metrics, 30+ activity profiles. And no subscription fees unlike some competitors *cough Fitbit cough*.
If you're serious about running but hate bulky watches, this is THE ONE. Worth every penny of the premium price. My only regret? Not switching from Apple sooner!
