Okay, so I've been using these wheat straw plates for about a month now, and here's the real tea ☕
First off - the colors are SO vibrant! I got the 6-piece set and each color is actually cute. They look way more expensive than they are, which is always a win.
The plates and bowls? Absolute stars ⭐ They're surprisingly sturdy - like I've dropped them multiple times (oops) and zero cracks. The deep rim on the plates is perfect for saucy foods that normally slide right off regular plates.
BUT... (there's always a but) the utensils are kinda meh 😕 The forks bend super easily and the knives might as well be butter knives. The spoons work fine though! And yes, they do feel like upgraded disposable cutlery.
Microwave & dishwasher safe? 100% true! No warping or weird smells after multiple cycles. They don't retain food stains either which is amazing for pasta sauces.
Would I recommend? Yes, but mainly for: camping trips 🏕️, kids 🧒 (they're practically indestructible), or college dorms 🎓. Maybe not as your primary fancy dinnerware though!
P.S. - The cups are smaller than expected, more like juice cups than proper drinking glasses. Just FYI!
