Just got my hands on the UMIDIGI G9T and wow, this budget phone punches way above its weight class! Here's my real-world experience after two weeks of use:
The 6.75" 90Hz display is buttery smooth - scrolling through TikTok feels premium. That eye-care mode actually works too, no more midnight browsing headaches.
Battery life? Insane. Went 48 hours with moderate use before hitting 30%. The 18W charging isn't the fastest but gets me from 20% to full during my morning coffee.
Performance shocked me most. Android 14 runs buttery smooth for daily tasks. Extended RAM feature actually works - had Spotify, Chrome and WhatsApp running simultaneously with zero lag.
Camera is... okay. Daylight shots are decent but low-light performance shows its budget nature. Pro tip: install GCam for noticeably better results.
The included case and pre-applied screen protector were nice surprises. Green color looks way more expensive than it is!
Only real con? Fingerprint scanner is hit-or-miss (face unlock works better). But for under $150 unlocked? This might be the best value phone of 2023.
