Okay, so I've been using the Elvie Curve for about a month now, and here's my real talk review!
First off - the hands-free thing is LEGIT. I can actually move around while using it, which was impossible with my old Haakaa. No more awkward penguin waddles to the fridge!
The suction is gentle but effective. At first I was worried it wouldn't work as well as my electric pump, but surprise - I've been getting about 2oz per session just from letdown while nursing on the other side.
Biggest win? It actually stays put! My little kickboxer baby hasn't managed to dislodge it yet (unlike every other pump we've tried). The bra-fit design makes all the difference.
Cleaning is... okay. Not amazing but not terrible. The valve area does trap water like others mentioned, but a good shake usually solves it.
Price tag still stings a bit, but considering how much use I'm getting out of it (and how much less time I spend attached to my electric pump), I'd say it's worth it.
Would I recommend? Yes, especially if you're an active mom who hates being tethered to pumps. Just don't expect hospital-grade suction - this is more about convenience and comfort.
