Okay, so I grabbed these Amazon Basics toothbrushes for my 5-year-old tornado (I mean, child) and here's the real deal:
First off - the price? *chef's kiss* For a 2-pack with batteries included, it's basically stealing. My wallet didn't even feel it.
The colors are fun (yellow and blue) which makes brushing time slightly less of a WWE match. My kid actually reaches for it willingly... sometimes.
But PSA: These things sound like tiny construction drills. Morning brushing sessions now come with bonus noise complaints from my still-sleeping husband.
The bristles are soft though, and my kid hasn't complained about gum pain - which is a win considering how aggressively she attacks her teeth.
Weirdest part? The two-button system. Like why Amazon? One button turns it on, another turns it off. My half-asleep self keeps mashing the wrong one at 6am.
After two weeks: Still working (unlike some horror stories I've read), but that off button is getting stubborn. Might need to start removing batteries like it's 1999.
Verdict: For the price? Solid 7/10. Would buy again but maybe keep earplugs handy.
